Honey
Where does your honey come from?
Our Welsh wildflower honey comes from our family’s hives across the Dee Valley, on the Welsh border. Each jar contains 100% honey.
Why has my honey gone cloudy or set?
That’s crystallisation — a natural change in honey’s texture. It doesn’t mean your honey has gone off. You can enjoy it just as it is.
How should I store my honey?
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the lid firmly closed.
Candles
Who makes your candles, and are they scented?
Our partner, B L Family Candles, hand-pours them in Wrexham using natural beeswax and cotton-core wicks. The three pillar candles in our shop are unscented.
How big are the candles?
The Honeycomb & Bee pillar is 6.5cm tall × 6cm wide, the Smooth Cylinder is 10cm × 6cm, and the Small Hexagon is 8.5cm × 6.5cm. You’ll also find the dimensions on each candle’s product page.
How long can I burn a candle for?
Burn for no more than four hours at a time and trim the wick to 5mm before lighting. Use a flat, heat-resistant surface and never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from children, pets, draughts and anything that could catch fire. For the total burn time of a particular candle, please ask us before ordering.
Soap & skincare
Who makes your soaps and skincare?
Busy Bees Cosmetics in Suffolk makes them for us. Our soap bars are 85g, lip balms are 12g and hand and body creams are 60g.
Where can I check the ingredients?
You’ll find ingredient information on each product page and on the packaging. If you need the full ingredient list or fragrance allergens before buying, ask us about the product you’re considering.
Orders & gifts
When will my order arrive, and what does delivery cost?
We usually dispatch within 1–2 working days. Allow around 3–5 working days for delivery in total. These are estimates; working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Can I order something as a gift?
Our candles come wrapped in kraft paper with B L Family Candles’ wax seal. For gift wrapping, a gift message or a larger order, contact us before ordering so we can confirm what’s possible. For team and client gifts, visit our corporate gifting page.
How do I arrange a return?

Can I sponsor a hive or host bees at my business?
Yes — we welcome enquiries about hive sponsorship and managed apiaries in the Dee Valley. You don’t need your own land to sponsor a hive. Read about sponsorship and apiary partnerships and use the enquiry form to get in touch.
